Works on Paper

The void is the mark.

These works treat paper not as support but as subject - a fragile material field made permeable through drilling, piercing, and accumulation. Each perforation is simultaneously mark and wound: the void left by the drill is not damage but deliberate meaning, absence constructed as carefully as any drawn line. Skulls and self-portrait forms emerge and dissolve within this process, meaning is constructed through absence as much as through presence. Mortality is not depicted; it is enacted through the surface itself.
