These works reduce drawing to its most essential elements: repetition, pressure, and time. Built through sustained, disciplined gesture - graphite accumulated, surface worked until it yields - they reject narrative and illusion in favour of structural intensity. The image is not depicted but constructed through accumulation, functioning as a record of attention and a measure of duration. What survives the process of removal is not minimal. It is essential.
