Painting as Inquiry

These works engage the medium as both subject and method. Working within restrained, monochrome palettes, they investigate surface, material, and the conditions of painting itself - relieving paint of the obligation to represent anything beyond its own physical presence. Through reduction and layering, each work proposes painting as an object of contemplation: complete in its refusal, where subtle shifts in tone and structure carry the full weight of the argument.
